Greg Drumm

Greg Drumm is originally from Dundee, now living in Milnathort, Fife.

Greg is a self taught artist.  He has recently taken time to refocus solely on his art after taking early retirement from his career in building surveying work.

Painting in a variety of mediums (pastel, acrylic, oils, pen and ink, watercolours) Greg is passionate with the “hands on” soft pastel painting technique which gives the fine subtleties in tone he looks for.

His work is predominantly of Scottish landscapes and seascapes. Being an outdoors enthusiast he captures atmospheric photographic images to transfer onto canvas. He is also frequently seen on the side of a hill or by a bothy sketching for possible paintings. Much of his inspiration is drawn from the extremes of the Scottish weather and the forever changing palette of colour, shades and light it continually produces.
