Ian McConnell
lives in Ballachulish with his wife Lynsey, he
has been climbing and walking in Glencoe for the last 30
years and finally moved here in 2002.
He has been drawing and painting for as long as he can
remember and studied part time at Glasgow School of Art.
He is a member of Glencoe Mountain Rescue team and works
locally in the NHS following a few years in the Oil
Industry as an offshore Medic.
His favourite subjects unsurprisingly are Scottish and
Alpine Mountain scenes and after painting for many years
in watercolour he has now taken to the freedom of
acrylics.
