Malcolm Butts
was born in Heighington, Lincolnshire in
1943 and educated there. His first appointment was to the teaching staff of
Leicester College of Art. For a number of years he taught at the Glasgow School of
Art where one of his main interests was casting in bronze. Malcolm now lives in the
west coast of Scotland and devotes his time fully to painting.
There is careful attention to details which characterises
Malcolm's works in oil and watercolour. His original work is
in private collections in Britain, Europe and USA and he recently
undertook a commission to paint a series of Scottish landscapes for
a highland distillery company. There is also an open edition
print of Loch Linnhe
published in 1999 by Holroyd Gallery, Fort William and depicts the view down Loch Linnhe
from the West End.Please note sizes are image sizes and prices include
