Anthony J. Barber was born in September 1962 in Stoke on Trent. He gained a BA degree and a post graduate diploma in Architecture. In 1994 he moved to the Scottish island of Lewis with his wife and daughter. There he concentrates on his art in his studio at Point of Ness. His work depicts the beauty and warmth of colours and seascapes on the west coast of Scotland. He publishes his own greeting cards, prints and limited editions. He also exhibits his original work in several galleries in Scotland.
